As reported by Rolling Stone, the premise for what Questlove will cook up in the studio to accompany the scenes is a story about a suburban loner and a punk rock character who fall in love but can’t seem to escape the violence following them.
The news of Questlove's most recent creative endeavor comes a week after his father, Lee Andrews, passed away at 79, whom the drummer and producer shared was “the greatest teacher in my life,” in a heartfelt written tribute.
The film, titled Vincent N Roxy, is due to premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival.
