This Overly Armed Security Guard Appears to Be Ray J’s Latest Accessory

The singer’s jewelry habit could explain his new entourage.

Buying expensive jewelry comes with an added price these days — armed security.

Ray J continues to put his money on his wrist and around his neck as the singer’s jewelry tastes may be the sole explanation for his new, arguably excessive security detail.

As reported by TMZ, the singer and his fiancee, Princess Love, recently made a casual pit stop at Leon Diamond in New York City, where the pair dropped over $50K on some new icing.

Investing in a $40K rose gold Rolex, two charm pendants valued at $7,500 each and a 4-carat diamond and rose gold pendant (custom for RJ) with a price tag of $10K, throwing a security guard into the mix only makes good business sense.

Ray J and Princess Love were escorted by a hooded, armed security guard this past Thursday (March 18) and their receipts at the high-end jewelry store have been speculated to be the reason why.

The security guard was carrying an AR-15 rifle, which in Michigan is legal given the state’s open carry law but still appears to be a comfort Ray J is getting all too comfortable with.

Regardless of whether or not this becomes the norm, we all know Ray J isn't mad about it — he's too busy being blinged out.
