Nardwuar wasn’t about to let a stroke deter him from what he does best. After recently interviewing DJ Khaled at SXSW, the Canadian radio host and G.O.A.T. interviewer dropped another one with Metro Boomin.

During the interview the St. Louis native discussed some of the older music that came out of his hometown. Toward the beginning of the back-and-forth Nard presented Metro with a Tupac figurine, which prompted him to explain how important Tupac was/is to his career. "'Pac was real and he put everything into that music with the passion, creativity and the drive, and I feel like it's all one in the same with myself," he said.

Also during the interview Metro Boomin reacted to when former GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson was asked whether he trusts Metro Boomin. “I really thought that was crazy,” he explained. “I was more more so wondering how Complex was talking to Ben Carson. That was the real question.” He also revealed that his tweet about not trusting Donald Trump wasn’t done by him but did agree that he doesn’t actually trust him.
