The song was curated by first lady Michelle Obama, inspired by her "Let Girls Learn" initiative.
Zendaya has launched an app through AOL Makers, which invites fans to share their personal stories of what inspires them. Those that submit through the app will be in the running for a chance to be featured in the official music video for the track, "This Is for My Girls."
The video will debut at the United State of Women summit on May 23 in Washington, D.C.
