We all can agree that the latest visual off of Rihanna's ANTI is sexy, but the Internet is split on whether or not it was enough. RiRi released the highly anticipated video for "Kiss It Better" on VEVO to a host of mixed reactions.
The general consensus was that the Bajan bombshell looked flawless. However, some fans believed that it was lackluster. Many assumed it would be a sensual follow up to "Work" or even a dramatic story along the lines of her 2011 hit "We Found Love" and her 2015 hit "BBHMM."
It was not.
Instead, the black-and-white video showcased how secure Rihanna is in her sexuality and femininity, but not all fans were as embracing. The lusty ballad, powered by guitar cords, is something many felt would give them Janet Jackson's "I Get Lonely" vibes, but for what it's worth, the video has the masses desiring more.
"Kiss It Better" has remained on Billboard's Trending charts at No. 3 since January, only debuting on radio this week. Her bashment-like collab with Drake "Work" is still dominating R&B and hip-hop charts, proving that Rihanna's reign still won't let up. Currently in the midst of her ANTI World Tour, this generation's most rebellious pop icon will hit the stage as she receives this year's Rockstar Award at Black Girls Rock!, airing on April 5.
