Beyonce Recruits An All-Girl Squad for Her Parkwood Entertainment Label

Who Run the World?... Girls!

Queen Bey is fed up with a music industry that tries to make, what she calls, “carbon copies of whoever is successful at that moment.” There isn’t much room for debate there, especially with the recent accomplishment of Desiigner’s “Panda” topping all of Future’s Billboard hits and being signed by Kanye — even though he sounds exactly like Future but, we digress. Elle Magazine recently got a look at Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment, her new record label, and its lineup of talent.

We honestly can’t wait to see what these ladies have in store. Her squad includes teenage duo sister Chloe x Halle, Houston native singer/rapper Ingrid, and 16-year-old singer/pianist/guitarist Sophie Beem. The talent must be undeniable, and with the renowned work ethic of Mrs. Carter, we’d say the music industry is about to have a run for its money. Overnight celebrities and one-hit-wonders don’t live here anymore! Bey told Elle:

“I want to take all my resources and give these artists the support of the best, to nurture them and allow them to be who they really are.”

Take a hard stop on whatever you’re doing and think about it – from visual arts, choreographers, and producers; all of these channels will be available to the “female battalion” that is Parkwood Entertainment.

Welcome to the musical stage, Chloe x Halle, Ingrid and Sophie Beem — “May the odds be ever in your favor.” Check out the full Parkwood feature here.
