Barry Bonds Trial
Baseball slugger Barry Bonds’ perjury trial finally started last week. More than three years ago, Bonds, was charged with lying to a federal jury in 2003 about knowingly taking performance-enhancing drugs. On Thursday, prosecution lawyers alleged that Bonds’ feet, hands and head grew due to the use of human growth hormone (HGH). On Monday his former mistress, Kimberly Bell, testified for six hours about the physical changes in his body from 1999-2001 allegedly due to steroid use.
