The ongoing revelations about the collision of U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner’s personal and political life are undoubtedly the topic of many conversations between spouses.

BET.com wonders how readers are reacting to tawdry revelations about Weiner, former IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn and his alleged attempted sexual assault of a hotel maid and the end of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s marriage after his long-term affair and love child came to light.

A number of questions probably arise in discussions between couples about the actions of these seemingly powerful men, who can otherwise maintain poise and make intelligent decisions in other aspects of their lives.

How could Mr. X be so stupid? Are all men unable to control their adolescent urges as adults? Would you ever do that?

Wise men have ready answers to the above questions: 1: Weiner is a nut. 2: Most men can control their urges. 3: Of course not.

What do you think?
