Michael Jackson’s Thriller wins a record-setting eight Grammy awards.

Pop legend Michael Jackson set the record for most Grammy wins in a single night when his album Thriller earned him eight awards. Throughout his career of chart-topping hits and awe-inspiring performances, Jackson won a total of 13 Grammys. In 1993, Jackson was awarded the Grammy Legend Award and in 2010 the Recording Academy posthumously awarded him the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
