George Zimmerman's attorneys have released a second batch of photos and text messages from Trayvon Martin's cellphone.
In the text messages, Martin describes himself as "a gangsta" and says his mother had just kicked him out of the house for being suspended from school for cutting classes, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The messages were sent in November 2011, three months before Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old, was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer.
Defense attorneys released new images that include Trayvon wearing gold teeth and making "an obscene gesture."
Zimmerman's lawyers say they may use this new evidence and previously circulated photos during the second-degree murder trial, scheduled to begin June 10.
