Teenage Boy Rescues a Five-Year-Old Abducted Girl
Temar Boggs and Chris Garcia took to their bikes and joined the search for five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas who went missing while playing in the front yard of her home on Thursday in Lancaster Township, Pennsylvania. Two hours after her abduction, Boggs, 15, spotted and rescued her.
Boggs said that he saw a suspicious car turning at the top of a hill near his friend Garcia’s apartment where police officers were gathered. He noticed that the car was weaving in and out of side streets throughout the neighborhood and pursued.
Once close enough, Boggs saw Rojas inside. After making eye contact with the driver, Boggs said the driver let Rojas out of the car.
"She runs to my arms and said, 'I need to see my mommy,'" said Boggs, according to the Huffington Post.
He took Rojas to the police, who then reunited her with her family. Boggs is now hailed as a town hero.
The suspect however, is reportedly a white male between 50 to 70 years old and still on the loose.
