Chicago Gun Violence: 2 Dead, 12 Wounded This Past Weekend

Two people have died and 12 people were left wounded in gun violence across the city of Chicago this past weekend.

Two people died and 12 people were wounded in gun violence across the city of Chicago this past weekend, including an 18-year-old man who was shot in the head Saturday night inside
South Side building. 
Tyshon Anderson was shot while standing in a building hallway, according to NBC Chicago. He was sent to the hospital and pronounced dead less than an hour after being shot. Jeffery Withers, 34, was also killed after being shot several times on a sidewalk early Saturday. 
A 16-year-old boy was among those wounded. He was shot in the leg and thigh several times on Friday night. Earlier in the evening, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg as a group of males attempted to rob him. 
There have been 19 gun-involved homicides as of Saturday, according to Red Eye Chicago, which tracks homicides in the city.
