Four people died and 14 people were injured in Chicago gun violence during the first weekend of November, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The most recent victim was 46-year-old Andrew Brown, whose body was found by authorities at 12:20 a.m. Monday in the South Side area. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:49 a.m., the Sun-Times reports.
Early Sunday, a 29-year-old man was found in the front passenger side of a vehicle with a bullet wound in his face. Police say the man's attacker walked up and fired at him while the car was still parked. He was confirmed dead by authorities and his identity was not released.
A shooting Saturday night took the life of Rayvon Little, 20, who was struck by bullets in the abdomen and leg while he stood on a sidewalk. Little was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Chang Z. Qui, 41, was shot in the back while working at a restaurant Friday by armed men who demanded money. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
There have been 298 homicides by gun violence in Chicago so far in 2014, according to Red Eye Chicago.
