Chicago Violence: 15 Shot Including 2 Children Over Weekend

A 5-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy were among those wounded.

At least 15 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend, including a 5-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy, according to Chicago Tribune.

The 5-year-old girl was shot amid a fight between two other people, and the suspect fled in a white SUV. She is currently in the hospital in serious condition. The 7-year-old boy was shot in the shoulder.

Four men were shot in West Englewood on Sunday evening, according to Officer Ron Gains, a spokesman for police. A 25-year-old man was shot in the buttocks; a 25-year-old man was shot in the back; a 19-year-old man was shot in the leg, arm and finger; a 24-year-old man was shot in the back, buttock, leg and finger.
