Rupert Murdoch Wants a 'Real Black President' Like Ben Carson

Billionaire businessman Rupert Murdoch has made it clear he wants to see Ben Carson take over the Oval Office next year. But he stepped out of line when he took a jab at President Obama's Blackness while showing support for the POTUS-hopeful in a series of tweets he has now apologized for.

Billionaire businessman Rupert Murdoch has made it clear he wants to see Ben Carson take over the Oval Office next year. But he stepped out of line when he took a jab at President Obama's Blackness while showing support for the POTUS-hopeful in a series of tweets he has now apologized for.
"Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else," wrote Murdoch. He then tweeted, "Read New York magazine for minority community disappointment with POTUS."

What followed was a thrashing of Murdoch's Twitter mentions from many who considered the comments out of line.
"I’m dying to know what @rupertmurdoch meant by 'a real black President.' Is Obama not a real Black person? Rupe what is a real Black person?," tweeted writer Touré.
"@rupertmurdoch Can you please regularly advise black Americans on which of them is 'real,' so they'll be free of doubt?" wrote Harry Shearer.
Murdoch received enough pushback to apologize Thursday morning, but has yet to explain what he meant by the comment.
