Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is continuing her efforts to gain the votes of African-Americans. Her most recent move has been hiring a new director of Black media.
Denise Horn has reportedly joined the campaign team. She formerly worked on Obama's reelection campaign in 2012, Buzzfeed News reports.
Horn has an impressive resume that involves working on initiatives that are affecting African-Americans. She formerly worked as assistant press secretary pushing forth efforts helping historically Black colleges and universities and also working with Black media.
Horn is a graduate of Howard University and also received her master's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
Back in August, Clinton began recruiting fellows to work with her campaign's African-American outreach director LaDavia Drane, who was appointed to the role in May. Drane had been a director of the Congressional Black Caucus.
