Teacher Takes Higher Learning Too Literally

Smoking weed isn’t the best way to bond with your students.

A high school teacher in Virginia, Domonic Leuzzi, is now facing some serious backlash and charges for allowing his students to light up during his shop class. He is currently being charged with contributing to delinquency of a minor.

Here’s what’s most bizarre about this story. Leuzzi, a mere 23 year old, was teaching at the Academy of Virginia Randolph, a high school for students who are academically and behaviorally challenged.

So Leuzzi thought it would be a great idea to let other kids smoke a little weed while working with tools. And let’s not forget that these students already struggle in a structured school environment, without any drugs. Have mercy.

It was reported that at least three students smoked under his supervision. After the class, other students reported him to school administrators who then notified the police.

Oh, and the teacher has obviously been let go from the school. Reporters went to his home to get a comment, but no one answered. Two guesses what he was probably doing instead.
