As the democratic primary race heats up, the digs coming from the candidates are surely doing the same. Lately, the candidates have taken to disproving the qualifications of their opponents.

Recently, Senator Sanders took a dig at Hillary when he said she is not qualified to be president due to her financial ties to Wall Street. This comment was enough to send Hillary supporters into a Twitter whirlwind.

One supporter, Kim Frederick, took action by tweeting a response that points out Clinton’s credentials followed by the hashtag #HillarySoQualified. Soon after, the hashtag began to trend, with many supporters highlighting the achievements of the Secretary of State.

However, things took a turn for the worst when non-supporters decided to start using the hashtag as an ironic way to insult the candidate.

Maybe they didn’t say things like “Hillary so dumb she bought tickets to Xbox Live,” but they did bring up incidents from Clinton’s past that show how “qualified” she truly is.

One user even took a moment to zoom in on the unimpressed faces of audience members during Clinton’s speech at Black Girls Rock!.
