Tiffany Davis is a graduating senior at Georgia Tech whose graduation photos took the world by storm. The aerospace engineer major tweeted a series of photos with the hashtag #YesImARocketScientist and the post instantly went viral.

Davis became interested in engineering after she received a circuit board for a Christmas present. She began studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology and majored in aerospace engineering, which falls under the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) umbrella. In addition to graduating from a very esteemed technical institute, she is working for the Boeing Company. She was initially accepted to their Engineering Accelerated Hiring Initiative and has continued to do amazing work for them.

Tiffany Davis is showing her excellence and deserves to be celebrated.  

Both women and African-Americans are statistically underrepresented in the aerospace engineering world. The path to success comes from ambition and work ethic. Davis is showing us all what it means to be a strong Black woman. The time for change is now and Davis represents the future of STEM.
