A Florida Sherriff's deputy, Fernandas Jones, and his 9-year-old son were among three family members who tragically died in a boating accident on Sunday. A small craft advisory had been in effect that day, which warned the family that winds were too strong for their 24-foot Sea Ray.

Jones and his 9-year-old son, Jaden, went out early Sunday morning for a fishing trip along with Jones's father-in-law, Wills Bell, and his cousin Robert Stewart

Jones's wife, Michelle, called authorities around 10:00 p.m. that night when the group did not return from their trip.

The first body was found early Monday morning and it was later announced that two others had been discovered.

The lone survivor, Robert Stewart, was found clinging to the capsized boat and was rescued by helicopter and has since been taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
