Find Out Why This Man Could Spend Life in Prison for Fighting

A kick to the groin went very, very wrong.

There's nothing funny about getting kicked in the balls. In fact, it could be deadly.
Jackie Pierce, a 58-year-old Ohio native has been indicted by a grand jury for the murder of his step-brother, Willie Cannon after a 2013 attack in which Pierce kicked Cannon in the testicles and Cannon died from gangrene a month later.

According to court documents, the attack began as a robbery, with Pierce demanding money from Cannon. When Cannon refused, Pierce repeatedly kicked him in the groin, and then took money out of his pockets. Authorities say the kick ruptured Cannon's testicle, leading to the development of gangrene.

Cannon's step-brother, Johnnie Hart, spoke to DailyMail, "They grew up together and were like two peas in a pod. They hung out all the time," he said. Hart added that the family has doubts about the charge, "Everyone who knows them knows that Jackie didn't do it."

Hart went as far to say that he believes Pierce had left the party before Cannon was attacked, but the grand jury disagreed and Pierce has been summoned for arraignment on April 27th.

Family members wonder why it took nearly two years for the charges to be brought against him. Dan Williams, the media relations director for Cleveland said, "It took two year to piece everything together and to get enough information to seek an indictment."

Williams also confirmed that police do not know where Pierce is currently, but added, "He's due in court at the end of April so I'm sure we will see him then."
