Tragic and Triflin': This Woman’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Died While She Was Out Stripping
A few months ago, Leila Aquino came home one early morning to devastating news. While the 20-year-old was out dancing for the Cityscapes Gentleman’s Club in Queens, her daughter, Kaleenah Muldrow, was killed in a house fire.
Now, Aquino faces charges of criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child for the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
To make matters worse, Aquino had previously faced charges of negligence by the Administration for Children Services. Now, this calls into question the actions of Aquino as well as her intentions. As a young mother, she surely faced a difficult time dealing with the expensive feat of raising a child.
Many young women dance in order to provide for their families. There was even a famous song by the group City High about this very topic. However, judgment aside, whatever you choose to do to provide financially for your children, it’s still crucial to make sure they are safe. Aquino's young child needed someone to watch her while her mother was out. And the fact that she left that girl alone is completely unforgivable.
