Charles Beau Menefee was fired from his producing job with CBS46 after he posted violent threats towards Black Lives Matter.
Menefee worked as a photographer and producer with the station until posts made to his Facebook account caused his employers to investigate. His posts not only spoke negatively about Black Lives Matter protesters, but he even threatened the group.
“An ARMED piece of s**t with a gold grill in his mouth like Alton Sterling was totally a reason for you unevolved, uncivilized turds to kill good, moral, moral, civilized people like police officers.”
Another post said that he would like it if it “rained gunfire” on the protesters who occupied the streets while a different post mentioned bombing protesters.
Menefee was nominated for a “General Assignment Report Within 24 Hours” Emmy in 2015 for his coverage of Ferguson with 11Alive. The general manager of CBS46, Mark Pimental, has confirmed that Menefee has been terminated from the station.
