Let’s all take a minute and think about the way our parents explained the birds and the bees. Some parents use descriptive metaphors, while others keep it simple and explain the pure anatomy of sex. Yet, there are some parents who like to stick to the scare tactic method when it comes to discussing sex-ed. 

When recent high school graduate Jasmyne was only 12, she was quite shocked when her mom, Charlene, pulled out a cucumber and a lemon to have the talk with her. Recently, the 18-year-old and her mother were discussing the talk they once had, and decided to recreate the moment for Jasmyne’s 15-year-old cousin Zee.

Zee is staying with the family for the summer, so she they thought this would be the perfect time to deliver some crucial life information.

This time, instead of a cucumber, Charlene used a knife to deliver the same message. Jasmyne knew this would be too funny, so she pulled out her camera and hit record. The wonderfully crafted story is too funny (and a little scary) for words, so check out the video.
