Last night, Hillary Clinton officially accepted the Democratic presidential nomination and delivered a powerful speech. Her speech was crucial because many people have mentioned that they have a difficult time connecting with her. However, last night, she showed us exactly what type of positive figure she would be for the country.

The crowd at the convention appeared emotionally moved by the history they were able to personally witness.

During the speech, her husband and daughter smiled with pure joy at the heartfelt message that she shared. However, one face was missing from the evening, and that was the current president.

Although President Obama was not physically present for monumental occasion, he let his support be known through Twitter. The POTUS used his personal account to send out an extremely positive message.

The president was not the only one to tweet a message to Clinton. Michelle Obama also sent out a powerful message from one first lady to another. The support and unity in the Democratic party really proved that the party is representing an America that believes in standing together as one instead of dividing the country.
