Remember the story of the woman who filmed and shut down a man who appeared to be touching himself on a crowded NYC subway train? Well, after seeing her son in a viral Facebook video, the mother of the alleged offender, identified as Kevin Cuffe, turned him into the police. 

The video, originally shared by Deanna Carter on Facebook, showed a man looking at Carter while allegedly touching himself behind his backpack. The video became a viral hit because Carter stood up for herself and women everywhere by yelling at the man until he left the train.

"Do it again and I'm getting up out this chair and I'm going to bust your f*****g a** on this train. We understand each other?" Carter shouts as passengers look on in a Facebook video.

The video was originally posted on August 15, and three days later, NYPD officials say Cuffe’s mother turned him into the police.

This is not the first time the 23-year-old has allegedly been caught in precarious train interactions. In December of 2015, Cuffe was spotted by a witness with his hand in his pants for 35 minutes while staring at women on a 2 train, prosecutors said.

After being turned in to the officials, Cuffe was charged with public lewdness and released, court records show.
