Almost a month ago, Malia Obama attended the annual Lollapalooza festival in Chicago where she let loose enjoying sets from the likes of Cashmere Cat and one of her personal favorites, Chance The Rapper.
During the celebrations, a video clip surfaced depicting the 18-year-old puffin’ on a little something that not everyone approved of. Now, curiously enough, weeks later, the President’s daughter was spotted at a concert again, this time wearing a t-shirt with a little PSA written on the wrong, all while happily celebrating Beyoncé's birthday. Amazing.
At the Made in America festival taking place this weekend in Philadelphia, Malia was seen rocking a t-shirt with the words “Smoking Kills” sprawled across the front in capital letters. Perhaps a fashion statement encouraged by her father, Barack Obama? Or maybe a subtly-petty response to the media that she got the message after being dragged online?
Either way, she definitely had a memorable weekend, which also doubled as Queen Bey’s birthday. Talk about an incredible way to end your summer.
Enjoying the Philly-based festival alongside both the president's daughters and her husband Jay-Z, Beyoncé was serenaded by Chance during his set and her reaction was just too perfect.
Check out this clip of a grinning and semi-embarrassed Beyoncé being sung happy birthday to in the video below.
