A woman in Georgia just experienced every homeowner’s worst fear: an armed robbery.

According to reports, the woman was home in bed when she was startled awake, learning that three men were invading her property. Adding to that nightmare, the three unidentified men were also clearly armed when they broke into her house in the middle of the night.

The incident was also caught on a surveillance video camera from inside her home, capturing footage of the woman defending her property and her life after the robbery attempt began. As a result of the break in, the woman fired her gun at the men in self-defense, with one individual being pronounced dead at the scene after making it to the driveway.

As reported, the other two home invaders escaped and police are currently seeking assistance in identifying who they are. According to police, the men were in search of cash when they kicked down the home’s door at around 4AM Friday (September 23).
