Breaking: Two Students and One Teacher Shot at South Carolina Elementary School
This afternoon, a shooter at an elementary school in Townville, South Carolina, shot two children and one teacher, said a spokesman for Anderson County Emergency Management.
The suspected shooter, a teenager, is in custody, spokesman Taylor Jones said.
One child was airlifted from the school to a pediatric trauma center at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina. Ambulances brought the female teacher and the second student to the AnMed Health Medical Center, where they are currently being treated.
The conditions of the three victims are unknown at this time.
Students were bused to Oakdale Baptist Church on Hwy 24, where parents picked them up.
Neither the name of the teenage suspect nor the victims has been released by officials. Police are not currently looking for any other suspects at this time.
