Watch: Disturbing Video of Teen Girl Getting Body Slammed by Boy Sparks Domestic Violence Debate

The fight caused 15-year-old Holly Wrixon to have a seizure.

A YouTube video showing two teens getting into a violent argument in California has started a controversial debate about domestic violence.

In the clip, 15-year-old Holly Wrixon gets into a dispute with a boy, 15-year-old Morgan Johnson, over a cellphone. As the tension escalates, things become physical and Johnson bodyslams Wrixon to the ground. Several moments later, the teenage girl has a seizure and needs to be taken to a hospital.

The incident began with the two arguing and Johnson demanding that Wrixon get off of his property. Wrixon then asks him to apologize for allegedly calling her a “f**king b***h and a c**t.”

Johnson continues to tell Wrixon to leave and she approaches him. As he pushes her away, Wrixon puts her hands up and Johnson then grabs her by the neck and slams her down. She then suffers a hard blow to the head and her friends immediately jump in to defend her.

Eventually Johnson is pushed away and Wrixon’s friends tend to her. At the end of the clip, Wrixon begins to seize.

As a result of the video being posted online, many people have commented in defense of Johnson, saying that he was defending himself against her attack.

YouTube user Alondra Martin defended Johnson by commenting, “This wasn't a fight between a girl & a boy. This was a fight between a person & another person. Whether you think it's right to hit a girl or not, she swung first, therefore HE gets to decide if he wants to take action or not. And, he never even hit any of the girls anyways. He just prevented them from hitting him. When he body slammed the girl to the ground, his arm prevented her head from hitting the concrete & no, he didn't cause her to have a seizure.”

Other commenters agreed that Wrixon was the aggressor in the situation, but believe that she should not have been thrown to the ground.
