Look: University of Kansas Suspends Cheerleader for Pro-Trump KKK Snapchat

And the student allegedly tweeted a defense.

A cheerleader for the University of Kansas and three members of the school’s spirit squad were suspended from cheering after a pro-Trump snapchat photo promoting the Ku Klux Klan was posted shared by the cheerleader, reported CBS News.

  • The photo was posted to sophomore Lili Gagin's Snapchat account.

  • The University of Kansas Athletics department issued a statement confirming Gagin's and the unidentified boys' suspension.

  • Although the university suspended the students, many are calling for a harsher punishment.

  • However, in a private tweet, Gagin alleged that someone else posted the photo.

“I’m appalled that a snapchat was put out on my snapchat and posted to my account,” Gagin reportedly tweeted. “I would never [have] done that & I apologize that it happened.”
