Look: Screaming Over This White Girl's Perfectly Petty Response To Being Told To Take Off #BLM T-Shirt Before Thanksgiving

Who else has seasoned leftovers for "Becca with the good shade"?

Rebecca Malstrom is Twitter’s newest and simplest Black Lives Matter activist.

She received a bunch of retweets and likes after she told her followers that her family told her to change out of the Black Lives Matter shirt she was wearing… and then changed into a new shirt with the same message.

Malstrom told Buzzfeed that her family has a “no politics at Thanksgiving” rule. Apparently, she couldn’t oblige. “I think she was under the impression that I was kidding. I love my extended family to Pluto and back, but a lot of us don’t see eye-to-eye on politics. So, being my petty self, I became the one to figuratively ‘stir the pot’ on Thanksgiving.”

Win.

Apparently, one of her sisters gave her a high-five while another hit the face palm. We can all relate. Thanksgiving was BRUTAL this year.

Twitter had their fun with reacting to Malstrom’s low-key protest. Check out some of the top responses below.
