'Mean': Press Secretary Sean Spicer Was Not Impressed by Melissa McCarthy's Hilarious SNL Impression

Many are saying the Trump administration can dish it but can't take it.
  • During "Saturday Night Live," Melissa McCarthy made a surprise appearance to do a hilarious impression of Press Secretary Sean Spicer

  • After the sketch became a hit, Spicer was asked how he reacted and he appeared less than impressed

In an interview with Extra, Spicer said he felt the impression was pushed too far. He even advised McCarthy “to slow down on the gum chewing; way too many pieces in there." Additionally, he thought the comedian "could dial back" when it comes to impersonating him.

When it comes to Alec Baldwin’s impression of President Trump, the press secretary called the sketch “mean.”

"Alec has gone from funny to mean, and that's unfortunate. SNL used to be really funny. There's a streak of meanness now that they've crossed over to mean," Spicer said.

  • However, the majority of people believed the sketch was a 10 out of 10

  • In addition, it's completely unreasonable for Spicer to call a comedy show mean while his boss bullies people on a regular basis

  • Spicer and much of the trump administration often dish out insults, yet have a difficult time being the butt of a joke

  • Eventually, Spicer caught up with "Fox & Friends," where he called the sketch "cute" and "funny"
