KKK Imperial Wizard Allegedly Smelled Like A** Due to Pill Popping, Cat Collecting Wife Accused of His Murder

Malissa and Frank Ancona had an eruptive relationship steeped in cat pee.

The disappearance and death of a Missouri Imperial Wizard of the American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan seemed at first to be an open and shut case. However, emerging details from the investigation have made it clear that the time leading to the murder of Frank Ancona was much filthier than anyone imagined.

On February 11, Ancona’s body was pulled from a riverbank with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. When police went to the house of Ancona with a search warrant, they found a blood spattered mattress, which led them to detain Malissa Ancona, Frank’s wife.

A discovery of bloody clothes at the residence of Malissa’s son, Paul Jinkerson, also led to his subsequent arrest.

During questioning, Malissa told police that Paul killed her husband while he slept in the master bedroom. However, new accounts and statements suggest that Malissa played a much larger role in the demise of Frank Ancona.

“I just knew she was going to do something one of these days," neighbor James Russell told the River Front Times. "I just knew it."

According to Russell, Frank and Malissa’s fighting was so explosive that it became a community issue. Russell claimed that he and his wife would constantly hear Malissa screaming at him. Although Frank and Russell were friends, the neighbor admits to keeping his distance from Malissa.

Neighbors and friends could tell that Frank was unhappy because of his wife’s growing addiction to pills and her unsanitary hoarding of feline friends.

Malissa, who tried to turn their home into an off-the-books kennel, would house up to 70 cats at a time. This caused Frank to smell of cat urine 24/7. Additionally, Frank grew frustrated with Malissa’s overuse of prescription medication.

During the peak of their marital issues, Frank confided in 25-year-old Lauren Jinkerson, the daughter of Malissa’s ex-husband Paul. When Frank talked to Lauren, he divulged that he believed Malissa was drugging him in order to steal his medication when he passed out.

"Really what she did could be considered attempted murder i think," Frank wrote to Lauren. "I can barely move or think straight right now.....very weak dizzy and blurred vision."

Then, when Frank’s body was discovered, Malissa was quick to pin the murder on her 24-year-old son

"Ms. Ancona admitted to me in an audio video recorded interview that her biological son Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr., shot and killed Frank Ancona while he was asleep in the master bedroom of the residence," St. Francois County Sheriff's Detective Matt Wampler wrote in a probable cause statement. "Ms. Ancona admitted that she failed to report the crime and additionally attempted to destroy blood evidence and altered the crime scene in an attempt to conceal the offense and was acting in concert with her son Paul Jinkerson Jr."

However, Paul Jinkerson Sr. believes that Malissa was the mastermind behind the entire murder.

"He was a geek," Paul Jinkerson Sr. said of his son. Before getting involved with crystal meth and other drugs, Paul Jinkerson Jr. was a computer science student at college.

"He wasn't somebody who would go out and do this," Jinkerson Sr. said.

Jinkerson Jr. entered a plea of not guilty during a hearing. Paul’s family continues to believe that Malissa forced him into this situation and she is 100 percent to blame.
