Two Women Convicted of Murder as Result of Serious Crackdown of Illegal Butt Injection Operations

O'neal Ron Morris and Denise "Wee Wee" Ross administered toxic substances to clients.

On Monday, a transgender woman in Florida received a 10-year prison sentence for administering deadly butt injections with lethal and toxic substances. O’neal Ron Morris, 36, also known as “Duchess,” injected patients with silicone, mineral oil, tire sealant, cement, and Super Glue, reported the Sun-Sentinel.

  • Many women and men in the process of transitioning would visit Morris to improve their appearance. One woman, Shatarka Nuby reportedly spent $2,000 for as many as 10 injections between 2007 and 2010. In 2012, Nuby died from complications related to her injections.

“There’s no closure. Putting (Morris) in jail won’t bring her back,” said Juanita Nuby, Shatarka’s aunt, in a statement broadcast by WFOR-CBS4. “This is a court of man, all you can do is put her away and teach her a lesson.”

  • Additionally, a woman in Dallas was found guilty of murder on Tuesday for similar reasons. Denise "Wee Wee" Ross, 45, was convicted of murder and practicing medicine without a license.

Ross would inject her patients’ buttocks with industrial-grade silicone in order to achieve the Brazilian Butt Lift look.

In 2015, Wykesha Reid was found dead at the salon where Ross worked — conveniently called the "Wee Wee Booty."

According to the Dallas Morning News, silicone from the injection traveled through Reid's heart and into her lungs. Reid died of a pulmonary embolism.

When Ross would inject her patients with the low-grade silicone, she used glue and cotton balls to seal puncture marks, according to authorities.

A second person, Jimmy Joe "Alicia" Clark, is also charged with murder in Reid's death.
