Teacher Caught Trading Candy For Kisses With 4th Grade Student Gets Probation

Many are outraged at Brian Kornbluth's plea agreement for the shocking incident.

A Boca Raton teacher, who was allegedly caught on camera kissing a 10-year-old student, has been sentenced to a year of probation after pleading guilty to battery on Tuesday (May 16).

The case was originally supposed to go to trial that same week. 29-year-old Brian Kornbluth was arrested on the previous Friday after authorities claim he kissed a 10-year-old, 5th grade student on February 9.

The classroom at Somerset Academy was empty at the time of the incident. The minor’s sister also made similar claims that Kornbluth hugged and kissed her.

Court records say the teacher pleaded guilty to a single count of battery as a part of the aforementioned plea agreement. Prosecutors dropped a second battery charge tied to the girl’s claims in exchange for the plea.
