Woman Caught on Video Attacking 12-Year-Old Girl After Boyfriend Talks to Her

Marlenea Uravage's partner asked young Presley Keeney, "Can I get a piece of that?"

A 29-year-old woman was arrested and charged for harassment after surveillance cameras caught her violently attacking an innocent 12-year-old girl.

On May 28, Presley Keeney, 12, waited for her dad outside a Quick Stop in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. As she stood there, she was eating a Slim Jim when an older man approached her and asked, “Can I get a piece of that?”

Thinking the man was hungry, Keeney reached into her bag to hand him another piece of beef jerky she bought. Seconds later, Marlenea Uravage, 29, ran up, pushed the man away, then turned and violently shoved Keeney to the ground.

Keeney’s father immediately came running out of the store. However, Uravage and the man had already fled.

Keeney’s mother, Chere Fuller, was disgusted to hear what happened to her young daughter.

“She said she didn’t even have time to think when that woman turned around, cursed at her and pushed her hard in her chin and face,” Fuller told Times Leader. “I cannot believe someone of her age and size would put her hands on a child like that.”

Keeney said the man who approached her “looked hungry.”

“I wanted to do something nice,” she told WBRE of offering him one of her snacks. “I didn’t want him to starve.”

“She thought the man was hungry. Because she’s 12, she has an innocent mind. He walked over and said, 'Could I get a piece of that?' And I’m not sure he was talking about her food,” Fuller told WBRE. “Who would be jealous of a 12-year-old girl?”

No details on the man with Uravage have been released.
