After spending 30 years on death row at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, Glenn Ford was freed on March 11, 2014. Finally, new information corroborated with his statements of innocence in Nov. 5, 1983, slaying of Isadore Rozeman, Ford's former employer. Ford was on death row since 1984, making him one of the longest-serving death row prisoners in the United States. Ford died from lung cancer in June 2015, just over a year after he was released. He was 65.
