Clean Water Eases Food Hardships in Africa

For years, African nations have struggled to provide clean drinking water and food to their most impoverished regions. In a Gallup poll released March 21, 67 percent of Africans who said they had access to clean drinking water said they never went without food to eat or went without it only once or twice in the past year. Forty-six percent of those who didn’t have sufficient drinking water said they went without food at one point or another.
