Hardworking Women
Young women now surpass young men in their belief that finding success in a high-paying career is a life goal, according to a Pew survey released on April 19. Sixty-six percent of women ages 18 to 34 said a lucrative career was a top priority, compared to 59 percent of men of the same age range. In 1997, 56 percent of young women felt the same, compared to 58 percent of men.
