Modern Family
The number of babies born in the United States to an unwed mother has increased eight-fold between the years of 1960 and 2008, the Pew Research Center reported recently. In a Pew survey released on April 19, 52 percent of Americans age 18 to 30 viewed the findings negatively compared to 62 percent of Gen Xers (ages 31 to 46), 67 percent of Boomers (ages 47-65) and 76 percent of the Silent generation (over 65).
