Neck-and-Neck

Like Mitt Romney, voters in crucial battleground states think that President Obama is a nice guy. But until they see some real change in the economy, they're keeping an open mind, according to an NBC News/Marist poll published May 31. Voters in Iowa, Nevada and Colorado said they had a favorable view of Obama by 48 percent, 47 percent and 48 percent, respectively, compared to 34 percent, 43 percent and 44 percent who view Romney the favorably.
