Intervening in Syria’s Affairs
As conflict continues to grow between Syria’s government forces and civilian protesters, few Americans believed the United States military should intervene. Sixty-four percent in a May 31 Pew poll said the U.S. does not have a responsibility to do something about the Arab nation’s ongoing and bloody conflict, while 25 percent of people said the U.S. military should step in.
