Setting a Good Example
Physicians appear to be good at practicing what they preach when it comes to encouraging a healthy lifestyle. In a Gallup poll released Oct. 3, 58 percent of physicians said they exercised three or more times a day, 60 percent eat five or more servings of fruits and veggies daily and less than 5 percent said they smoked cigarettes.
