Forging a Spiritual Path

In an increasing trend, Americans are moving away from claiming a religious affiliation, with one-fifth of the U.S. adult population saying they aren't religiously affiliated, according to a Pew poll released on Oct. 9. Of the respondents that expressed "being religious or spiritual in some way," 68 percent said they believed in God and 21 percent said they prayed every day.
