Trayvon Martin Shooting

In February, the nation's attention shifted to the suburbs of Orlando, Florida, where 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman. Zimmerman claims he shot Trayvon, who was unarmed, in self-defense under Florida's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law. (Photo: UPI via Newscom)
