Think you couldn't possibly live without having your smartphone by your side? You're not alone. In a Pew study released on Nov. 30, 67 percent of people said they check their phones for messages even when they don't notice it ringing, 44 percent sleep with their phone next to their bed so they don't miss calls and 29 percent said their cellphone is “something they can’t imagine living without."
