America’s “Mormon Moment”

If elected, Mitt Romney would have become the first Mormon president of the United States. Perhaps because his faith wasn’t a centerpiece in his campaign, the majority of Americans (84 percent) said they learned little or nothing about Mormonism during the presidential campaign, according to a Pew poll released Dec. 14.
