Happy New Year?

The New Year often is an opportunity to look forward and be hopeful. Many Americans are feeling just the opposite. In a new Washington Post/ABC News poll published Dec. 24, just 53 percent said they are hopeful about their lives in 2013 and 44 percent said they're fearful. In addition, 56 percent said they are more fearful about what's ahead for the world.
