Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor Commission
The Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor Commission represents the Gullah culture, which was shaped by enslaved west and central Africans brought to the southern U.S. Stretching from Wilmington, North Carolina to Jacksonville, Florida, the Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor is known by its cultural and linguistic traditions. It is the first time a Gullah float will appear in the inauguration parade.
